In the wake of Hurricane Melissa’s devastation, Houston Moncure, co-owner of Bluefields Bay Villas in Westmoreland, has opened his doors and his heart to the community. The luxury villa property has been providing hot meals daily, free Wi-Fi access to help residents connect with loved ones, and shelter for those displaced by the storm. Moncure also plans to convert shipping containers into temporary housing for staff members who lost their homes during the hurricane 🇯🇲 We’re continuing to collect donations for those affected by Hurricane Melissa. Items can be dropped off at the Jamaica Observer (40 - 42 1/2 Beechwood Avenue), which is serving as a donation centre.
