“Columbus,” a resident of Fustic Grove, a community on the border of St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland, says he has lost both his home and his place of work to Hurricane Melissa. The establishment, which has been a staple in the area since the 1970s, was completely destroyed during the storm. He recounted the harrowing experience of enduring the Category 5 hurricane as it tore through his community earlier this week.
