FOREVER YOUNG earns his GI Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic glory with a run to remember Saturday at Del Mar! 🏆 The Japanese superstar took the lead coming around the final turn and never looked back, surging ahead of a charging duo in Sierra Leone and Fierceness to win the $7-million featured race at Del Mar.
Last year, Forever Young finished third in the GI Classic behind Sierra Leone and Fierceness. Since then, the 4-year-old son of Real Steel has won the 2025 G1 Saudi Cup, finished third in the G1 Dubai World Cup, and won the Nippon TV Hai in his native Japan.
Arguably the most internationally talented horse on dirt, Forever Young is trained by Yoshito Yahagi, owned by Susumu Fujita, and was bred by Northern Racing. He was ridden by Ryusei Sakai.
A Classic to remember 🏆 🇯🇵
