The McCallum Knights beat the Navarro Vikings 63-0 tonight at Nelson Field. Senior Cooper Hensley ran for a touchdown to start the game, and an extra point kicked by senior Max Fullerton gave the Knights a 7-0 lead. After a Navarro punt, senior Alex Hopper caught a touchdown pass from junior quarterback Aiden Ilai and another extra point from Fullerton gave the Knights a 14-0 lead. Junior Tyson Thompson blocked and recovered a subsequent Navarro punt, giving possession back to the Knights to allow Ilai to run for another touchdown. Senior Jax Hicks then intercepted a Viking pass and returned it for a touchdown to put the Knights ahead 28-0. Four consecutive touchdowns from junior Fletcher Vandegrift, Hicks, sophomore Silas Alexander and junior Devlinn Fitzpatrick put McCallum ahead 56-0 at the half.
