It looks like the rumors of a Trifold Galaxy Z phone might be true. đź‘€
The phone was behind glass at a recent Korean tech showcase, and we only saw it in action via this superimposed animation, but both suggest we might get the rumored trifold this year after all.
It opens up to a 10-inch screen when needed, and folds back into a rather chunky smartphone when not in use. At least that’s what an on-screen animation shows. No one actually saw it in action at the K-Tech showcase in South Korea.
As Korean news outlet Dailian reports, this would be the first trifold phone from Samsung, following similar devices being trialled by Huawei. Samsung didn’t provide any specs, though we can glean some details. There’s a front camera on the main screen, and another on the external display. When folded, the display is 6.5 inches, but it expands to 10 inches diagonally when fully unfolded.Â
