Wow! The 4th of July with the Clinton LumberKings was something I’ll never forget! Being able to experience a 4th of July in a small town where baseball is one of the pillars of the community was insane! Especially infront of a sold out crowd. Seeing nearly every seat filled, the roar of the crowd on great plays, and the retention wall outside the walls behind the ballpark filled with vehicles and people watching the game and waiting for fireworks really showed me how much the people of Clinton love their community. On top of that, during my pregame walk around the ballpark to get some quick social media content, I was surprised by how many people stopped me to shake my hand and compliment the broadcasts I do on the radio.
