You’ve spent months building endurance, strength, power, and speed. But once the season starts, packed schedules and fatigue often push training to the side.
Here’s what athletes should know:
• Endurance: lasts up to 4–6 weeks
• Strength: begins to fade after 3–4 weeks
• Power: drops off in just 2–3 weeks
• Speed: starts to decline after just 7 days
You don’t need to train at 100% year-round, but you do need to keep the key qualities in play.
