Craft supply store Hobbycraft has apologised after a woman claimed she was “ejected” from the store for objecting to a “No TERFs” badge.
Bex, a self-proclaimed regular customer, took to X/Twitter to reveal the incident that occurred at a branch in Dundee, in Scotland, on Sunday (26 October). She claimed that she and her partner were “ejected” from the store after questioning a member of staff who was wearing a badge that read “No Terfs, No Tories.”
“[The manager] was clearly ejecting us on the grounds of our gender-critical beliefs,” Bex wrote, adding that she felt she should be allowed to go about her day “without being subjected to discrimination because of my beliefs”.
Bex captioned the post: “Staff member wore [the] badge as part of her uniform. We confronted the badge. We got chucked out for doing so.”
