Two police dashcams captured falling meteors this month. One in Elmhurst, Illinois on October 25. Another in Neenah, Wisconsin on October 29. Fireballs have been common occurrences Minnesota and Wisconsin, with nearly three dozen fireball reports in Minnesota between 10 p.m. and midnight on Oct. 29, and more than 70 reports across Wisconsin, according to the American Meteor Society. The society received 73 reports of a fireball over Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Wisconsin on October 25. Both the Orionid and Taurids meteor showers lit up the skies this month.
