🇺🇸 Welcome Coach Myllena De Sousa to the Cavalier coaching staff!! 👏🏀 She is completing her undergraduate degree at Olivet Nazarene University and 2025–26 is her first season as a student-assistant coach for the Cavaliers. A native of São Paulo, Brazil, De Sousa came to the U.S. on a basketball scholarship to play at Parkview Christian High School in Lincoln, Nebraska. She played for the Cavaliers from 2022 to 2024 under Coach Meister, earning NJCAA Academic All-American honors (2023). She graduated from KCC in 2024. As a student-athlete, De Sousa was a leader with a strong work ethic and team-first mentality. She also has a deep understanding of the game and a passion for helping others.
