🙌 Miles' High Five of the Week 🙌 Shout out to Dr. Victor Wang who showed up in full purple flair (for migraine awareness) to MC our recent San Francisco Walk/Run/Relax event! Dr. Wang is a board certified Neurologist and Headache Specialist at Sutter Health, supporting the Bay Area migraine and headache community. He currently serves on the Miles for Migraine Medical Advisory Board, and graduated from our ACT Now Advocacy Training Program. On philosophy of care: Dr. Wangs training through Georgetown University taught him the importance of Cura Personalis, caring for the person as a whole. His passion for Neurology, and specifically Headache medicine, arose from his desire to understand and treat suffering. We suffer because of the limitations that life has dealt, whether they are physical, emotional/mental, genetic, or environmental.
