American Psycho is a fantastic satirical thriller about how status-obsessed yuppies with cookie-cutter style are the fucking worst. Christian Bale gives an incredible performance as the mentally unstable Patrick Bateman, the ultimate yuppie. He cares only about brands and exclusive restaurants, and he is utterly shattered when he finds out how good Paul Allen's business card is. Nobody in the movie can tell each other apart, because they all wear the same suits, and the same haircuts, and the same glasses (from oliverpeoples, although I much prefer my Riley model in Storm). That said... Is this a fit? He obsesses so much over each item being the best of the best... Did he even bother to make it look good? Does it fit? Does it mean anything?
