So this little nugget has been going viral the past couple of days and I can’t help but feel so much pride. For those unfamiliar, this is a ballroom dance competition. because partners are required to compete in Ballroom/Latin, and we have yet been able to recruit an equal amount of boys as girls into the world of dance, they’ve been many attempts to still create opportunities for girls that have yet found a partner. This is an example of a girl owning her stuff! I mean to the fullest she don’t need no man she don’t need no one, little lady is on fire. Applaud the courage, applaud the confidence and personality, and once again super proud to have the world peek further into our world of competitive ballroom dancing and discover glimpses beyond the commercial shows you’ve seen on your TVs. Get your kids into dance early. And BOYS too. It’s good for them all. Talk about building self-esteem and self-respect. It’ll teach you how to hold your head high and have a spine, both metaphorically...
