When people ask me “how long you’ve been dancing?” THIS long! 😂👑 . Young gentleman right there. Always in “shadow position.” Instilled in the foundation of ballroom fundamentals is the idea of always presenting your lady. She shines you shine, both a reflection of each others greatness and support. I say it often, very few activities out there promote comradery and teamwork between a boy and a girl as a single competing creative unit. We tend to separate them in competition and through other institutions of growth and then wonder why there’s such a disconnect or inability for healthy interaction and communication between the two. I grew up sharing my creative space, my successes and failures alike with a girl, an adolescent girl, a young woman, to a woman.
