Man. What. A. Year. To much is given, much is required. This year of 28 has been the most challenging time of my life. I became an ACC DJ with @packwomensbball and witnessed the drought of 27 years be snapped to bring the ACC championship back to Raleigh. Also, I saw my alma mater, Winston-Salem State University, cut the nets for the Men’s CIAA championship But who knew that life would turn for the worst with the Pandemic. My life changed. I felt like I was stripped of everything but it made me closer to God. I lost track of what I was put on this Earth to do. So, to the year 28, you humbled me into the man I am today. Today I start my journey on year 29, a journey that I’m embracing moving forward. A better man. Buckle up, we ain’t done yet. Happy Birthday to myself.
