October 31, 2025, Brno, Czech Republic: Candlelight tours of the ossuary beneath St James Church in Brno, Czech Republic. It is the second largest ossuary in Europe in terms of the number of buried remains after Paris catacombs. It is estimated to be the final resting place for more than 50,000 people. In the 17th century older bones and remains had to be collected and relocated and it is now assumed, vaults were constructed in the 17th century underneath the church for storage of those old bones.
