When Boity and Lenient, two women on our TTF Impact Baby Rescue team, heard that an estimated 3-4 babies are being abandoned every day in Johannesburg, they didn't wait for someone else to act. They felt called to step up and get involved. “Someone has to help them. If not me, then who will help them?” Lenient said. Our TTF Impact Baby Rescue team visits local communities daily, meeting with pregnant mothers to educate them on the dangers of baby abandonment and raise awareness of the life-affirming resources, counseling, and support available through our Ministry Partner, @impactafrica. Alongside their team, these ladies reach nearly 2,000 pregnant women every week, empowering vulnerable mothers and saving the lives of precious babies. “We just have to show up, and we pray that God gives us the strength every day to do that,” Boity said with tears welling up in her eyes.
