“Is there anything that I can do?” - Boity, TTF Impact Baby Rescue Team Leader When Boity heard the heartbreaking reality that an estimated 3-4 babies are abandoned every day in Johannesburg, South Africa, she couldn’t believe it. She wanted to know how she could best help her community. As a response, Boity joined the TTF Impact Baby Rescue team. Alongside the team, she visits local communities, clinics, and schools, reaching nearly 2,000 pregnant women each week with life-saving alternatives to baby abandonment, parental counseling, resources, and support. She says that education about the dangers of baby abandonment and the availability of life-affirming resources are helping save lives! Through the support and counseling received at TTF Ministry Partner, Impact Africa, many mothers are having a change of heart and mind. “Most of them do decide or choose to stay with their babies, and that’s the best part of it,” Boity shared with a grateful smile.
