It was happy days all round in Tallaght tonight as Shamrock Rovers picked up their fifth league title in six years and opponents Sligo Rovers got the win they needed to confirm another season in the Premier Division. Owen Elding was the man again as he scored the winning goal from the penalty spot to put Sligo above Galway and Waterford who drew in the RSC, a result that sends Waterford into the promotion / relegation play-off in the coming weeks. Elsewhere Bohs overcame Drogheda 1-4 to confirm fourth place ahead of St Pats who could only draw with Shelbourne who finish third behind Derry City. The Candystripes won 1-0 in their final game against Cork City who have the Cup Final on their minds next week. #LOI
