Creative Collaboration in Our Youth Musical Theatre Classes! đźŽ
This one is a class favorite - Each performer designed four counts of rhythmic movement, and one by one, they built on each other’s ideas until they had crafted a full piece together!
What makes this exercise so special is that not everyone identifies as a dancer — and that’s the beauty of musical theatre. Some students excel at movement, while others bring strength in storytelling, musicality, or creative expression. We celebrate each others strengths and applaud the effort being made in areas that need a little more TLC.
Beyond creativity, this process builds essential skills:
