Throwback to 2001 location; Marina Barcelona 92 I was running Motor Yacht White Star, a 92’ Hatteras, hauled out for a bottom paint job. Next to us stood a 242’ superyacht, surrounded by scaffolding for its own paint job—until the scaffolding collapsed onto our vessel. One crew member fell, and from what I remember, the Engineer’s quick reflexes saved his life. My crew and I were actually in Andorra snowboarding when it happened!
