The lack of empathy is unbelievable. And honestly, this goes beyond Jamaica. If you can’t take everything that comes with visiting another country—the beauty and the hardship—then maybe travel isn’t for you. If you can’t handle delayed flights, power outages, or seeing real life beyond the resort gates, stay in your own country. I’m never one to be rude, but I really hope this message reaches at least one of those people posting tone-deaf complaints.
