I saw the comments under the bubbas.big.adventure video, and I can’t stop thinking about them 😡
As a therapist, as a mother of a teenage girl, it’s deeply disturbing how many white men felt entitled to sexualize, insult, and objectify her body. The comment section reads like a case study in misogyny, men using humor, “compliments,” and cruelty to disguise their discomfort with women who don’t exist for their approval.
To the teenage girl in this video and every woman who’s ever had her body dissected online, you do not exist for their gaze. Their comments are not reflections of your worth; they are reflections of their conditioning, their insecurity, their fear of women who take up space and joyfully live in their bodies.
