A poll published last week by the UC Berkeley Institute for Governmental Studies, or IGS, revealed that 60% of likely voters support a “yes” vote on Proposition 50. Prop. 50, a legislative constitutional amendment, will temporarily change the way the state congressional lines are drawn to favor the Democratic Party if passed. Another poll conducted by IGS in August showed a 48% “yes” to 32% “no” margin voter opinion on the ballot proposition. The new poll takes a look at likely voters’ preference on Prop. 50 in relation to their method of voting, partisanship, age and opinions of President Donald Trump and Gov. Gavin Newsom, among other factors. Read more through the link in bio. ✍️: Audrey Baime 📸: Cole Mortensen . . . #ucberkeley #dailycal #berkeley #prop50 #igs #donaldtrump #gavinnewsom #democraticparty #republicanparty
