A new chapter for Vahva ❤️ The Grade I-winning daughter of Gun Runner made a name for herself, and certainly won over the hearts of everyone in the Cherie DeVaux barn, throughout her four seasons on the track. In 20 starts, she curated a record of seven wins, six seconds and three thirds primarily at the graded stakes level while earning nearly $2.3 million. It was just this past Saturday that she finished second in the GI Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint. On Tuesday, Nov. 4, during Book 1 of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, the 5-year-old mare went through the ring and sold for $3.1 million to Killora/Linton, agent for Boyd Racing. She was consigned by Lane’s End.
