At the beginning of October, George Brant (@george.brant), the playwright and librettist of WNO’s world-premiere opera “Grounded” opening Oct. 28, spent an afternoon with military veterans and their loved ones and led the group in a writing workshop in partnership with @ArmedServicesArtsPartnership. George led the group through an exploration of a ten-minute play structure and reminded participants that plays first take shape in our mind’s eye and imagination. The trick is extending that imagining to the audience.
