Thomas grew up appreciating nature as a Boy Scout and going on trips with his dad. He loved all things outside - to rock climb, backpack, hike, swim and kayak. Right before graduating from high school, Thomas was in a car accident and suffered a spinal cord injury. During his recovery, he was introduced to adaptive sports. A hand cycle made it possible for him to return to the mountain bike trails he loved. Fast forward to the present day - Thomas joined outriderusa and ENO to try the Outrider Coyote, the most capable off-road wheelchair on the market. His fiancée, Anna Belle, and Canine Companion, Kevin, joined for a day, hitting the trails and soaking in the beauty of springtime in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Want to hear more of Thomas’s story?
