Hi there, it’s Mike. Bridget asked me to make a note when she went back to surgery. This surgery will be one more huge step in a long road. Not the last step, but a major one nonetheless. I am unbelievably proud of Bridget’s faith, resilience and strength through this entire course. We are so grateful for the incredible surgical team and for all of you who have been covering her in love and prayer. In her video earlier today she showed where they have placed markers and during this surgery the surgeon will go in and use them to identify the tumors and remove them. One of the most important next steps is waiting for the results of this surgery.  We are first praying for a smooth and safe surgery for Bridget but also of major importance is we’re praying that the specimen (cancerous area in breast), margins (tissue surrounding the cancerous area), and lymph nodes all come back 100% cancer-free.
