@kalejunkie BOURBON POMEGRANATE CRANBERRY SAUCE, a little twist on a holiday classic! And yes, you can omit the bourbon, but whyyyy šŸ˜‰. The alcohol burns off and leaves behind such great flavor. My version also uses monk fruit instead of white sugar for a no added sugar option. ⁣ ⁣ 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries⁣ 1/2 cup fresh pomegranate arils⁣ 1 cup pomegranate juice OR orange juice⁣ 1/2 cup water 3/4 cup granulated monk fruit (@lakanto) or granulated sugar⁣ 2 tb orange zest⁣ 1 cinnamon stick⁣ 1 tb vanilla extract⁣ 3 tb bourbon (optional, but recommended)⁣ ⁣ Begin by preparing your cranberries. Rinse and dry them thoroughly. If using frozen cranberries, there is no need to rinse them. Add the cranberries and pomegranate to a large pot and add in the monk fruit/sugar, pomegranate/orange juice, and water. Heat over medium-high heat and bring to a gentle boil.
