The Starbucks medicine ball is a popular drink in the fall & winter when everyone is getting sick — and it’s yummy — but with over 30 grams of sugar in a small drink, of course it is :) Here refined sugar free version that is way more potent, with ingredients that actually soothe, and you can make a big batch to store in your freezer for the cost of one Starbucks drink. If you’ve never heard of a “medicine ball,” it is basically a mix of lemonade, mint tea and honey. My version nixes the lemonade and subs real lemon, peel and all, adds lots of fresh ginger, raw honey for sweetness, coconut water for electrolytes and hydration, and of course, the mint tea.
