Are hard BAKED eggs better than hard BOILED eggs? š¤·š»āāļøš„ Well Alton Brown thinks so, so I tried his method last week. You take a moist towel (not wet) and place it directly on the oven rack. Place the eggs directly on top. Then bake at 320F for 30 minutes. The moist towel stops the eggs from coming into direct contact with the metal so there is no discoloration and when the eggs are done, the towel is cool, so you can wrap them all and pick them up. From there, itās a simple ice bath for 10 minutes and the shells literally slice off.
The result? The CREAMIESTānot dryāhard baked eggs. ā£

Would I use this method all the time? Nopeāonly bc of the electricity used and sometimes I make just a few eggs at a time. BUT, it is fantastic when making a large batch of eggs at once (egg salad, maybe?) or making a large batch for meal prep. It is nice not to have to wait for water to boil, get the timing right, pull the eggs out of the boiling water, etc.ā£
