TAGALONG COOKIE PROTEIN BITES—you guys voted for the Tagalong version of my Samoa Cookie protein bites, so here you go! Tagalong cookies are my all time favorite Girl Scout cookies, but if want something a little more nutritious and filling, try these. Each bite is packed with protein, healthy fats and fiber to keep you full in between meals, and pro tip: they also make an excellent pre-workout bite! They also taste amazing FROZEN!
This recipe makes 8-12 bites, depending on how large you like em!
1/4 cup ground flaxseed meal
1/3 cup almond flour
1/4 cup unflavored collagen peptides or protein powder (2 scoops)
1/4 cup maple syrup
2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
In a food processor, add all of the ingredients and stir everything together well, making sure the ingredients are fully incorproated. Add chocolate chips then process for 30 seconds. Next, using a cookie scoop or spoon, form bite-sized balls of dough. Sprinkle with flaky salt and enjoy...
