BETTER-FOR-YOU STARBUCKS MEDICINE BALL! Follow
@kalejunkie for more! The Starbucks medicine ball is a popular drink in the winter when everyone is getting sick — and it’s yummy — but with over 30grams of cane sugar in a small drink, I’m going to show you how to make a refined sugar free version that is way more potent AND that you can enjoy all winter for the cost of one Starbucks drink. If you don’t know what a medicine ball is, it is basically a mix of lemonade, mint tea and honey. My version nixes the lemonade and subs real lemon, peel and all, adds lots of fresh ginger, raw honey for sweetness, coconut water for electrolytes and hydration, and of course, the mint tea.
Keep the cubes in the freezer and you are set.
Makes 12-16 cubes
5 organic lemons, scrubbed and washed well, roughly chopped
1 3-inch piece of ginger, scrubbed and washed well
1/3 cup raw honey (I used

1/2 cup coconut water (

Mint tea (I used

Blend all ingred...
