This is a childhood favorite that you can make with 5 ingredients and using any tiny shaped pasta—it doesn’t need to be O’s as you can see! The entire meal comes together in 20 minutes, which is a huge win in my book, so make sure to save this post to make it whenever the craving hits. It’s also kid approved :)
Makes 6 servings
1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
2 tb olive oil
3 garlic cloves, mashed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tb oregano
6 tb tomato paste
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1 parmesan rind (optional)
2 cups tiny pasta like O’s, alphabet, ditalini, orzo, etc
Fresh basil for garnish
