@kalejunkie for more! GRILLED ROMAINE WITH LEMON PARMESAN DRESSING! If you’ve never grilled your romaine lettuce before, you are in for a real treat. It’s warm and you get that delicious charred flavor from the grill and with this lemon parmesan dressing on top, it’s so good, you’ll be just like me and eat it with your hands! *And if you don’t want to use your grill for this, you can use a grill pan on the stove!
2-3 heads romaine lettuce
1 tb olive oil, to brush on
Dressing
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tb dijon mustard
1 lemon, juiced
1 tb honey
2 cloves garlic
1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (and 1/4 cup more for garnish)
Wash the lettuce, trim the end off, then cut the romaine in half, keeping stem intact. Line them up on a parchment lined baking sheet, cut side up. Brush with olive oil. Heat your grill or grill pan. Once the grill is very hot, add each romaine half, cut side down. Keep it there for 3-4 minutes, then flip, let cook for 1 minute more. Remove and pl...
