PERFECT 9-MINUTE TERIYAKI SALMON! Follow @kalejunkie for more! The secret to this recipe is BROILING your salmon instead of baking it. Broiling uses TOP DOWN heat to quickly cook foods. When you bake, the heat evenly surrounds the food to cook it. Both methods are fantastic ways to cook, they are just different! ⁣ ⁣ To make—⁣ 3/4 cup coconut aminos (or low sodium soy sauce)⁣ ¼ cup honey⁣ 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (1 lime)⁣ 1 inch fresh ginger, you can leave the skin on!⁣ 3 garlic cloves⁣ 1 1/2 lbs salmon, cut into even size filets⁣ ⁣ In a blender, add the coconut aminos, honey, lime juice, ginger and garlic. Blender until smooth. Add salmon to a container, flesh side down, and pour most of the marinade on top and coat well. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Transfer salmon to a lined baking sheet.
