Motherhood hasn’t come easy to me—I never had that maternal instinct. And if I’m being honest, 8 + years later, I still struggle and mourn the freedom and independence of my life before kids. But I am SO grateful—grateful for the ability to shape the lives of two young boys and help them grow into men with integrity, kind hearts and respect for strong, independent, hard-working women. I try my best to role model that for them ☺️. And I’m grateful for the many lessons they teach me along the way—selflessness, patience, unconditional love, and presence.⁣ ⁣ And so, while I wear many different hats, being a mom to Gavyn & Hunter is by far, my favorite. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas doing the work—what a gift it is.
