FAMOUS JAM DOT COOKIES from my stay at @thegoldendoor! I got the privilege to spend my week resting and relaxing at the famous Golden Door this past week, and this simple recipe was one of my favorites. This is not just ANY thumbprint cookie—I love the subtle taste of orange! They are healthy, delicious and they freeze well too; not to mention, they are egg-free and made in one bowl. SO SO EASY. Get on this one asap! Makes 12 large cookies or 24 small ones 1 cup gluten-free flour (or whole wheat flour) 1 cup sliced almonds 1 cup oats, ground 1 tsp cinnamon 1⁄4 cup grape seed oil (I used avocado oil) 1⁄2 cup maple syrup 1⁄2 cup fresh orange juice 1 tsp vanilla 1 10-ounce jar fruit jam or spread (I used @chiasmash) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
