And they remind me of the McDonald’s yogurt parfaits I’d eat as a child—pure nostalgia, but a little more nutritious. You can mix and match your favorite fruits and jams and get creative with this. It’s a fun and DELICIOUS breakfast or dessert!⁣ ⁣ 1 parfait (double recipe for 2)⁣ 1/4 cup rolled oats⁣ 1/2 cup milk of choice⁣ 1/4 tsp almond extract (or vanilla extract)⁣ 1/2 cup chocolate yogurt (or flavor of choice)⁣ 1/4 cup strawberry jam (or no-sugar added strawberry jam)⁣ 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced⁣ 1 tb cacao nibs (or chocolate chips)⁣ ⁣ In a small bowl or jar, add the oats, milk and almond extract. Stir together well. Next add the yogurt layer, followed by the jam, fresh berries and cacao nibs. Cover and refrigerate for one hour so the oats soak up the liquid. Then enjoy!
