If you are baking this holiday season, there’s a good chance that your recipe calls for powdered sugar—it’s so pretty sprinkled on top of baked goods and it’s great to make icing! If you run out in the middle of baking or just want to save money and make it your self, you are in luck. It is SO EASY! All you need is two ingredients—white sugar, and corn starch. ⁣ ⁣ NOTE: The corn starch is to prevent caking. If you are making powdered sugar to use right away, then you can leave it out and just blend the sugar into powdered sugar. If you intend to store yours, use the corn starch.⁣ ⁣ To make 1 cup powdered sugar, you need:⁣ 1 cup granulated white sugar⁣ 1 tb corn starch⁣ ⁣ Add sugar and corn starch to a blender. Blend for about 1 minute until you’ve got powdered sugar.
