Christmas Tree Bruschetta
Serves 8-10
1 baguette, sliced into 1 inch rounds
2 cans hunts petite diced tomatoes, drained well
3 cloves garlic, mashed or minced
1/2 cup basil, chopped finely
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt & pepper to taste
1 babybel cheese (to make the star)
Preheat oven to 400F. Slice bread and line them up on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Pop in the oven for 10-12 minutes, broiling for 1 minute at the end to get desired brown edges. Remove from oven. Prepare the bruschetta.
