There are many different ways to make sweet potatoes (including in the microwave!!), but this method is my FAVORITE and that’s because they get nice and juicy, with a caramelized sweet flavor that just isn’t the same if you do it in the microwave. ⁣ ⁣ Here are some PRO TIPS you need to know:⁣ 1. Try to buy sweet potatoes that are roughly the same size so that they all cook evenly. ⁣ 2. Make sure to scrub and clean them before doing anything—they are dirty! I use a produce brush to scrub them as best as I can.⁣ 3. Poke holes all over the sweet potato. This is so they don’t burst and it also helps create moisture (juicy sweet potatoes!)⁣ 4. Use recyclable foil if possible, so we can be environmentally friendly!⁣ 5. Store the cooked sweet potatoes in a container in the refrigerator for up to one week!
