Beach student Tess Walker was accepted as a teacher resident in Long Beach. Since she lived in San Dimas, she considered sacrificing her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. Fortunately, the Long Beach Teacher Residency Program (LBTR), a new partnership between csulbced and longbeachusd, provided Walker with support to pursue her dream.
