This year’s “Creating the Dream” ceremony honored senior Arantxa Melendez, president of the Caribbean Student Network; Marissa Pierre, assistant director, Student Leadership & Involvement; and members of the Black Law Students Association. The keynote address was delivered by someone dedicated to advancing Dr. King’s dream: Imari Paris Jeffries, president and CEO of embracebos, the nonprofit responsible for the majestic memorial sculpture on Boston Common honoring Dr. King and his wife, Coretta Scott King.
