FURTHER CONSIDERATIONS: 🌲 Thinner papers work better, and newsprint is the best as it has longer fibers and absorbs the glue more. 🌲 To help it go bad less quickly, add laurel or other bacteria-deterring plants to the paste. Plus it smells nice. 🌲 Reminder! If you're caught with wheat paste on you it can be labeled as an explosive/combustible substance in some places. Be careful, and keep your projects to yourself. ALTERNATIVE METHODS: 🏴 You can make a water activated glue using activated gelatin packets and water in a spray bottle. Spray the gelatin mixture on the back of whatever you want to paste, then let it dry. When you go to paste them up, bring a spray bottle of water to activate the glue, then press the paper onto the surface. Works best on low texture surfaces. Carrying wheatpaste or spray adhesive can get you in trouble - it's harder to make plain water seem incriminating. Use (3).25 oz gelatin packets and 1/2-3/4 of a cup of boiling water.
