Sisters PGH at USCHA 2025
This past week, Sisters PGH showed up in full force at the United States Conference on HIV/AIDS (USCHA). Our Founder and Executive Director, Ciora Thomas, moderated the powerful panel Trans for Trans Love: Navigating Pleasure, Status & Identity, while our Board Member Mo’Nique Campbell brought her brilliance to the session Saving Ourselves: Transgender Advocates Navigating HRT, PrEP, and TaSP.
Together, they represented Sisters PGH as Black trans leaders committed to shaping the future of HIV prevention and care. They connected with colleagues and national partners, shared knowledge, and gained insights from sessions on data-driven decision-making, performance measures, and linking outcomes to real community impact.
They also helped conceptualize what HIV, STI, and STD prevention and care will look like through Sisters PGH’s Stonewall Inn programs — bringing insights from the national stage back home to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County & Philadelphia County.
