At our 15-Year Anniversary Gala, Sisters PGH was recognized by Governor joshshapiropa as the longest-running Black trans woman-led organization in Pennsylvania—a title we carry with pride.
For 15 years, Sisters PGH has provided advocacy, peer support, and direct services to all trans and gender-expansive people, while prioritizing Black and Brown trans communities across Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and Philadelphia.
Through SistersPGH, we offer:
• Project T (transitional housing)
• Monica Roberts Place (permanent housing)
• The Stonewall Inn (drop-in center for unhoused trans people: showers, rest, meals, peer support groups, toiletries, emergency shelter)
• Behavioral health services
• Case management & peer advocacy
• Rent & utility assistance & eviction prevention
• Employment opportunities & leadership development
• Advocacy & peer support spaces
And now, through SistersPHL, we’re expanding our reach in Philadelphia, providing:
