A Historic Honor. At our 15-Year Anniversary Gala, Sisters PGH was recognized by Governor joshshapiropa as the longest-running Black trans woman-led organization in Pennsylvania—a title we carry with pride. For 15 years, Sisters PGH has provided advocacy, peer support, and direct services to all trans and gender-expansive people, while prioritizing Black and Brown trans communities across Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and Philadelphia.
