Meet Our Keynote Speaker: hopegiselle 🌹
We are honored to welcome Hope Giselle as the keynote speaker for Sisters PGH’s 15th Anniversary Masquerade Gala and Award Ceremony — a celebration of legacy, resilience, and community.
A Miami native, Hope is a nationally respected organizer, author, artist, and activist. She made history as the first openly transgender woman to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Fine Arts from Alabama State University, where she also co-founded the school’s first LGBTQ student organization.
Hope is the founder of AllowMe, a nonprofit that uplifts LGBTQ youth of color through personal and professional development. She also serves as Training Director at Get Phluid and is the Monica Roberts Senior Scholar at the National Black Justice Coalition. Her memoirs, Becoming Hope and Until I Met Black Men, offer powerful narratives rooted in truth, identity, and transformation.
