Today, I’m sharing an official statement as the Executive Director of SisTers PGH and SisTers PHL regarding my experience with Dominique Morgan and the harm caused to our organization and community. This statement is being made in the spirit of transparency and collective accountability. It is rooted in restorative justice and love for our Black and Brown trans communities—but when restorative justice is rejected or avoided, we must be visible. We must name harm to protect the future. We cannot afford silence when the safety, sustainability, and survival of Black and Brown trans youth and our trans community at large are on the line.
