We Say Her Name: Tasia Woods SisTers PGH is heartbroken to share that our beloved sister, Tasia Woods—a Black trans woman from Pittsburgh—has passed on. To be clear, the circumstances surrounding Tasia’s passing are not known to us at this time. What is known is that Tasia was deeply loved. She was family to many in our community. She was light, strength, humor, and history. A girl from our era. A sister whose presence will never be forgotten. We uplift her name. We honor her life.
